    Darvocet?

What's worse than getting one root canal? Getting two root canals on the same tooth.
Actually, the procedure itself is really not that bad. The agony of dying nerves is far worse.
The Endodontist called in a prescription for Darvocet. Has anyone ever taken that? I'm just wondering what I'm getting myself into. I hope it's not as bad as Lortab.
    Thanks.

    Re: Darvasat?

10mg of vikodine per pill I believe is the average. A week pain killer, I'd term it. Street value probably about one dollar per pill.

    Re: Darvasat?

I feel your pain. Never had a root canal but my dentist has finally recommended me to see an oral surgeon to have a retained baby tooth looked at...looks like I'm gonna need an implant which is supposed to be fairly serious Oral Surgery. Not to mention expensive and my dental insurance is garbage.

    Re: Darvasat?

Cool that sounds ok. Codeine isn't strong enough for this, and Lortab is way too strong, so hopefully Darvasat will be a happy medium. I'd think Vicodin would be too much for me to handle.

darvocets are pretty mild.  makes some people puke, but if you eat something before hand you'll be ok.

it's the same medication as lortab, but with asprin instead of tylenol (or the other way around, i don't remember) but it is a little lower strength. just be careful, and take some dramamine if you are nauseated.

    Re: Darvasat?

i believe its actually a higher strength than lortab.

lortab = vicodin = hydrocodone = lowest strength painkiller (besides tylenols with a tiny amount of codeine    i.e. tylenol 2's and 3's)

darvocet and percocet are next level up.

then codeines....my personal fav.   liquid codeine = THATS HOT

best ones i ever got tho? broke my wrist senior year of high school, really played up the pain factor at the doctors: "i cant sleep it hurts so bad, i cant focus in school" etc......hooked me up with hydrocodone/morphine combo.   WOW.  i was a drooling zombie for a week.

all i know is darvocet didn't work on my back pain, and vicodin did. i think you are right, though, terd. i got it backwards. they also make you wicked constipated.

^^ ive heard that about the constipation.

they made my 2 friends puke......they both get them for wisdom teeth removal, kept throwing them up.

one dude caught some dry sockets because of it.....they hooked him up with percs, problem solved for some reason.

It's funny how drugs affect different people in vastly different ways. Vicodin really does nothing for me but Codine, now that stuff works wonders.

    you're damn right.

and i still cant see how people can get addicted to this shiit......is the initial impression that you are a badasss for taking painkillers the big draw or something???

i took some of my uncles once for a migraine (who actually had to go to rehab for them) and didnt see the allure.  they are strong, yes.  but worth shelling out tons of cash to get them illegally?  fvck no.
