That's cool....by the way how did you get you hands on the EL-V? I'm also interested to know how it handles at higher speeds and on hardpack coniditions....if you have the chance.

don't think I will be riding in any pow today. I am stoked to see how the flying V rides. And yeah junkshow is correct they are exiles.

    Re: EASY LIVIN

Just got done on the elfv. Alot flexier in the tip & tail than anticipated but stiffer in between the bindings. Don't get me wrong I loved it. Very buttery great pop. Way more stable than my hero in the air & super forgiving on landings. I would say that it did not have the instant fun factor that I got the first time I was on the hero. But it was very stable & comfortable in turns, on jumps & on the jibs.

The exiles were amazing. I've never been in bindings that I was super stoked on & I did not expect anything different from these. They were sooo comfortable no pressure points that made my feet hurt. Perfect amount of flex. Loved the new ankle straps.

controls well at highspeeds. I do not feel comfortable commenting on hardpack...it was pretty soft snow today.

the ankle straps are shaped slightly different than a traditional ankle strap and for me I found them to be very comfy.

I would definitely not say it is flexier than a hero...it is definitely stiffer between the bindings w/ similar nose and tail feel to a hero.

Junk...not sure if you are asking should you upgrade or is it an upgrade?

I was expecting it to be a hero upgrade which it was not. It rode different than a hero...not in a bad way. Rode much more like an uninc. Still fun and a great all around park board but I will still definitely ride a hero from time to time.

That being said I am not sure that it is the quiver killer that people expected it to be. Like a said I still love my hero.
