Man, this season kicks ass! Had the last 2 days off and rode the best, big lines. A bit of trekking after the snow had settled and hit them just right! Today they called for 5 cm's and there must be close to 20 in town the last 6 hours of light light snow! If I can ever figure out how to put pics from my iphone onto this I'll put up a few goodies. Happy days

Yeah indeed, and with the weather coming from the north we also get the good white stuff. Had one of the most epic weekends ever...Shitloads of fresh snow during the week, nearly too deep in some areas at first, but it settled oh so nicely for the weekend, friday a whiteout but perfect snow and no one around, saturday it started to clear up and sunday still lots of good lines to be had and bluebird. As soon as monday came it started to snow again, today: 20cm down in the valley...So good.

You should be able to pull those pics using iTunes I think?

What's the deal with this weekend? The weather forecast is saying rain up to 2500 meters, wtf?

Not sure how it'll continue, but I guess it's save to say that february was awesome in the alps. We got heavily pounded and just today my resort claimed 20cm of fresh snow, more on the horizon. For some silly reason I didn't ride the last weekend of february, but at least I got OUT this past sunday. Was a bit warm, but then again it was a somewhat "progressive" day, first time I ever I tried cab 5s, my friend spun the first time I think ever more than a 3, both backside AND frontside (where he skipped the 5 altogether and went for the 7)...obviously didn't land them but we didn't eat *** either (well OK, he did, but pow doesn't hurt!), so stoked on that. Funnily enough I also took my second and third park-run of the season - just the silly kids line but the achievement there is that so far I had no reason to ride park at all, I hope it's gonna stay a while like that.
And YAY for "publicity", seems like the DC guys were filming here, think the Pirates too and maybe a Burton crew - just makes me feel like I really am lucky to ride here when you see all those shots in a big video production and you're like "Yeah, that's there. Oh and that was shot there."


SO what are you up to?

It almost seems we're in a transition period right now, from 30-40 cm's every few days to very serious close the top lifts for a while snowfall! It's been snowing since Monday, It's about 8:30am and after recieving atleast 20cm's in town after the lifts shut yesterday it is just hammering now. we've had 2 days max bluebird between every snowfall the last few weeks. I love watching this sh1t fall....

I'm going to open it and make sure the goods aren't damaged, rebox and send those OUT no later then tomorrow.

Damn, sorry to hear that Dawg. Scheduling conflict or what? Doesn't the EKDK need you for the race?

It's a tough time for me right now. My job has gone from bad to worse....Money is really tight....I fucked up my ride 4 wheeling(fried the electrical system), and am pretty much stuck between a rock and a hard place. Just bad timing right now, I'm sure that the ekkies will prevail with OUT me. :)

I hear you, Troy. The job stuff here is also in rapid decline, but hopefully things will work OUT in the end.
