gotta remember shawn renewed his contract with burton for another 10 years, at some point he will become more of a big mountain rider/film parts such as the way of craig & terje, shwan is albout being #1 hates to lose (who doesnt) but if not kevin or someone else will take his place in the pipe/park unless he goes the tony hawk route, hell a new clothing line at target, I bought my 5 year old one of his tees last week not bad for being in his early 20's. I met him last year he seem pretty down to earth but I didnt spend much time with him.

Iced_endeavor:I agree that you probably could beat him down the runs you're thinking of, runs he's never seen or ridden before. That said I'm sure I could beat him too, down some runs I'm thinking of. On a level playing field, or at the top of a first descent neither of you has seen before things very well may be different.

Basically what happened was Kevin Pierce was awarded the TTR tour champion at the US Open and $50k for having the most points from the Ticket To Ride tour. Turns there was another TTR event after the US Open in Europe which Shaun White entered and won, thereby putting him in the lead in the TTR standings. Problem is they already awarded KP as the champion, abeit prematurely. So the TTR organization had to give Shaun White $50k too. They quoted Pierce as saying he was unhappy about the situation and the article painted Shaun White as having taken advantage of a loophole. I don't get what the big deal if they bought got $50k.
Gnu325:He better than any of us on any kind of terrain, plain and simple.When you are that good on park and pipe you have to be at least very good on any other kind of terrain.Park and all mountain freestyle have similarities, you know they aren't completely different.And no I do not like him, he is extremely annoying but he is damn good.
