how is a snowboard company anymore connected to the travel business than any other business, and how come JJ didn;t just tell you what his plans are?

On second thought I will answer this. Did you know that not everyone that ski's or snowboards has a decent location within driving distance that offers quality riding? gasp!!!! some people (ontario,michigan,new york, as well as any non mountain state or province for that matter) actually have to hop on a plane to get some snow time in. Crazy I know! How can such places exist! I could probably write an essay on the connections alone but I just can't see the value in trying to get through that brick wall that blocks logic and reason from penetrating through that dense skull of yours.

It's last years visits but it shows the #'s of people traveling from reigon to reigon to ski/ride.

I love it. Coming back in here is like going to the bar in Tombstone where the guy is going to blow the dude up the wildcat's ass.
The two industries ARE intertwined. I know you fucking hate Colorado, but working at some resorts here and in MT have taught me a few things. 1 is that it is not the local population pushing all the product out the doors at local shops - most of it gets bought by tourists who hop off the bus or the plane from other parts of the world. When people don't travel here to resorts, shops have a tougher time selling through their inventory. Without people in Ohio traveling to Tahoe for the winter for a week, they would probably decide they didn't need that new Banana Hammock there were going to buy on Porters.com/303boards.com/snowboardconnection.com/ insertshopnamehere.com, because why would they need that in Ohio? BUT, since they are traveling to a destination ski resort, it makes sense (in their mind). I guarantee it isn't the locals supporting the D!cks snow sales up in Summit county.

Back to the topic... I wish JJ well, he's an inspiration and I hope he has a long career in the industry.
