bpede03:What is the story behind all the Terje references to CoisOK? I think I missed this.
he had the audicity to claim that the reason why pros like terje don't use this message board is all the e thugging and sh!t talk that goes on
which is retarded on many levels and implies he knows them and what motivates them
the fact his brain works that way that he would type such a thing is a pretty good clue into how much of a fxcktard he is
plus all the other claiming
a6 avant "i'm taking my a6 avant in for an oil change..." who talks like that?
claiming knee deep pow at a basin when other dudes where there at the same time who said it was dust on crust
claiming he makes 250K a year with a 3.3 wait no make that 2.3 tax rate
etc

i think its only burton that says "size down" which is what they say with their pow boards too
my approach is that you can size down, but you don't need to size down
i rode the 57 hero all last year, and in the pow it rides bigger than 57, but it was still a bit too small for me
61 joystick for next year for rizzle my nizzle

I do. It's called board flipping. I do the same thing as Spenser. If I see a good deal I will buy it, use it for a while and resale, usually for the price I paid for it. Most of my gear is from the C3 shop.

I go through stuff too... without the reselling part...
It's just that nobody wants my old ***...
drjcv:this board smells like fucking weed, man.
hahahaha priceless!
Spenser?: ColoradoIsOK: Does a rockered board have the quality that you can ride smaller than normal? I remember something said here about that. i personally dont believe in it.break it down. say you normally ride a 58 like me, which is a pretty normal size for all around riding at my size. some people have told me to size down to something like 54s with rocker. what am i really getting?in natural snow/pow alone: say a cambered 58 has a certain amount of "float".. and then say the same board in a 54 would have "less float," but it makes up for it with rocker. so lets say it has around the same "float." but then im on a shorter board. for me, that definitely isnt as stable when ridden on the same terrain, rocker or not. so for me, all im doing is getting a smaller board with the same "float" thats less stable. i dont see the point at all. rocker isnt meant to let you change board sizes, is it? its meant to be a different kind of board period, so..plus, they ride like smaller boards in certain places, like groomers. take one board on groomers, and then take the same exact build but press it into a rocker shape, and the rocker one feels more loose and "smaller." so sizing down more? no logic.so really, i cant think of a single situation where sizing down on a rocker board would make sense. the only place would be if you rode bigger cambered boards in pow than normal cause you didnt like how your normal size rode there, so now with rocker you can ride your normal size and get the float you want. but thats not the reality of it.. the people telling you to size down are already riding a normal size, if not a shorter size than what is pretty "normal," going along with the short board trend. i mean, most people these days would recommend me around 54 for all around riding at my size, even knowing what i like to ride.. treeeeeeeend

Makes sense. thanks. I think I remember the pow reference to feeling "bigger".
I was going to ask the opposite too...because of the highlighted comment...I also thought I remembered that observation as well.
