    New cars are beautiful!

Well everything except the front and rear wing.Wink

Otherwise, I love the streamline look and lack of winglets. The teams got too carried away with that stuff.

Best looking car this season IMO is the Williams FW31.

And the Renault car being the worst.

Finally! Season's starting! And it looks like Ferrari and McLaren won't be dominating! I believe it will be an exciting season.

    So who's your pick?

    Brawn GP looks legit!!!

I'm thinkig that the reason they changed the wing design is to take away some of the rear down force but keep most of the front down force.  They are making it less about the car and more about the driver; example: changes to the traction control last year.  I like this idea but the car looks silly.  I would give anything in the world to be an F1 driver.  After my pro golf career, maybe  Stick out tongue

The smaller rear wing is also suppose to create less turbulence and the bigger front wing to maintain stability as your car gets right up behind the car ahead of you before you pass.

The problem in the past is as your car gets closer to the car in front of you, the turbulence from the car ahead makes your car less stable, therefore making passing very difficult.

I never think about the people behind me....they can stay there...Stick out tongue

Still have to put my money on Ferrari.  But Brawn will be close causeI think this may be Button's breakout year.

I really hope Kimi does better this season. If he plays second fiddle to Felipe Massa again, his reputation as one of the best drivers will really take a hit.

Re: The Official Formula 1 Discussion Thread.

This is the interview with Kimi.  I wonder how much weight he could have lost?.  I thought he was already real fit.  If he has lost a bunch of weight it sounds like he has returned his focus back to driving, not the car and realibility issues. I would think it will be close between Felipe and Kimi again, but Kimi ulitmatly is the better driver when he's not distracted.  I'm excited about the season getting started.  I just wish I has PVR so I could record it and watch it when I have the time.

Brawn GP was legit! I wonder if Honda execs are kicking themselves right now.

But it's kinda scary how fast they are. This season, every team has to reveal their pre-race fuel load and Brawn was not running light. I hope they don't easily run away with the title and have good competition.

Rusty set the alarm for 2 am to watch the qualifying live. Then watched it again this morning. The boy is hard core crazy.
