    Re: EASY LIVIN

Saw the Easy Livin V-Rocker up at the Demo center today.  No I did not have a camera for you.  And no, I was in a hurry in a hurry and didn't get a chance to check out the specs.  I'll check it out tomorrow when I drop by.

    Re: EASY LIVIN

    SPOILER ALERT:

Here are the pics of the new Easy Livin Flying V-Rocker late release.

Instead of the normal V-rocker this board has V-rocker between the bindings and then goes back to camber.  Hence the Flying V name.  There is also going to be another late release board called the Flying V with the same set up.  The demo center had both but did not have the specs on either.  I went ahead and measured the waist on the one they had which was a 152.  Waist was 245.  This board looks sick! The board is thicker bewteen the bindings and towards the tip and tail where the transitions from rocker to camber are made.  You can kind of see ti in the side pic but it is hard to photograph.

Also took out a Custom V-Rocker 156 today.  Board is awesome! I liked it way better than next years Hero 55.  Probably due to my opinion of the scoop.  The board rode effortlessly and carved amazingly.  Slightly poppier than the Hero, but I didn't feel it was necessarily stiffer.

Lastly I feel the need to start a rumor.  Late release EST Infidel.

    Re: EASY LIVIN

the easy loving (the flying v version) only comes in two sizes, the same two sizes as the easy living v rocker (152, 155)

    the 152 has a 24.8 waist

    the 155 has a 24.9 waist

you actually have posted pics of the easy living v rocker, not the "flying v" version

these terms are stupidly confusing, should be a *** show come september

    Re: EASY LIVIN

i could be wrong, the easy loving might be something different altogether, but in the pics i've seen the have easy living v rock ltd (pictured as the one above) and an easy loving (same graphics as the easy living but different colorways), but the description says the easy living v rock ltd is tthe one with "flying v rocker"

    confusing

    paging jigga

    Re: EASY LIVIN

so the flying v is as BOY described, w/ v rocker between the bindings and then normal camber beyond?

that actually sounds like the "w" rocker i was joking about before, but what would be the performance benefit?

    Re: EASY LIVIN

same concept as C2 BTX and also what neversummer does.  supposed to have some of the extra float of rocker, as well as the "playfulness," but also have the power and pop of camber, since theres camber on the nose and tail.

i personally dont feel like i lack anything with full on rocker.. the only thing ive wanted to really change was just getting a stiffer board, because the hero was pretty soft, and the gyrator really isnt that stiff either.  the banana i rode was definitely stiffer than my hero, and it was at least as stiff as my gyrator, though the ride was noticeably different of course, so its a hard call.  either way, thats part of why ive been considering mervin.

    Re: EASY LIVIN

i dunno, but what im getting out of this is that theres one in camber, one in v-rocker, and one in flying v.
