Don't get me wong, I haven't ruled one out yet. I rode a 155 all of last year.

But everything is telling me to try something bigger this year.

    Re: EASY LIVIN

Pics of the Flying V:  Not the best setup or camera but I tried.

The rep explained the flying V as being a directional twin, that would best be described as a bridge between the joystick and the custom V rocker.  The nose is slightly more rounded than the joystick and it is slightly stiffer.  The arrows point out what Burton is calling "springboard?" if I remember right.  The board is thinner under the bindings to give the flying V more pop.  This is NOT the same as how the Flying V is done on the Easy Livin.   Rep said it was because of differences in materials and the Easy Livin did not need the extra material due to superior construction.  Board does not have scoop.  Size is 157 and I could not get more info on others.  Waist is 254-255 (did not have the MM tape this time.)

    That's all I've got until I see a catalog.

Doc, apologies on the WW of the Easy Livin.  Made a rookie mistake and measured across the top.  248 is definitely right.

    Re: EASY LIVIN

Just got back from riding.  Small review based on my opinion.  Took two runs and two park laps.

157 Flying V with Molovitas.  Really fun to carve on and good edge control.  Poppy, fun to butter, fairly responsive.  Awesome in the pipe.  Felt like there was a lot of chatter but that's opinion.  Other than the pipe I was only so-so on this board.  I don't know how much I would recommend this board to others without them riding it first.  Overall I would still go for the Custom V rocker 156 or 159 over this.

I can't fit on the Easy Livin so if anyone up at hood can fit on the Easy Livin I would give it a try and the flying V and review them against each other.

    Re: EASY LIVIN

I'm looking to get on something twinish and rockerish this season, but will have to demo to make sure these short-as$ed sizes will work.  I know the rocker is supposed to let shorter boards float, but I'd love to see some 161 action in the flying V or easy living late release...I still like me some effective edge, extra float or not.  Lack of sizing may push me to the custom V, I guess.
