    Hey guys, 

    I just got my first burton ics setup and was curious to know the correct answer to binding setup.  I always just threw my bindings on without much thought but would like to know... Should you center the base plate to the board or the actual boot in the bindings... I would guess that it would be the boot but it seems that the front toe edge of the base plate (movable toe piece) is almost flush with the side edge of the board and the heel side of the base plate is about an inch away from the side edge when the boot is centered... Sound okay??

    To center things, you want the boot centered on the board. It needs to be equal distances from toe to edge and heel to edge. Move your binding to match. You may need to adjust the heel-cup on the binding to make it right.

    burton heelcups dont adjust.  just saying.

    It's all about the boot... put the boot in the binding and tighten the straps so that the boot is pushed back into the heelcup fully.  Then make sure you have an equal amount of overhang by the toes as the heel.  It's one of the things made easier with an EST binding.
