est bindings on old board(without ics)????

    est bindings on old board(without ics)????

    hey, i have an old burton 01' rush board(without ics system).can i mount it with cartel est bindings??if so will it work well??

    sure!! why not!! just use a drill and some drywall screws.

    like fearless said, glue will work, just make sure its elmers. welding will also work just make sure that you turn the heat down so you dont melt the board or bindings. all you need is a bit of metal in between the board in bindings to hold em together until you want to take em apart. i usually carry a blowtorch and some copper wire with me whenever i go ridng. apart from melting metal the blowtorch also comes in handy as a handwarmer if you put it on low and leave it in your pockets for those really cold days on the chairlifts. lucky me!

    with t bolts you can mount anything onto anything.

    EST Bindings don't use the standard screws that most bindings do. They are a bigger diameter and I don't think there is a T-Bolt that will work with them.

    then while you're picking up your bolts you grab four screws and washers

    btw I'm not advocating the use of tbolts unless you don't ride one board for more than a season or you've got a board whose core you don't mind rotting out.
