flying V spec's confusion

    flying V spec's confusion

    Just picked up the Flying V the other day and notice some differences in the spec's between what the sticker says vs the board/wed site. The sticker states that this is a park board, park fly 2 core, sintered n20wfo vison base, and freestyle scoop. it doesnt look like it has the freestyle scoop, the board says park fly 1 core, sintered base. Those are the only differences i read. I also read some place that it has lighting bolts too, but no evidence on the board/sticker of that mentioned. Just looking to find what the truth is. Anyone?

    The specs also are not the one's for the ELFV either. Sorry for the typos too, what i ment was n2o wfo. THis isnt the only board with this case. Some info would be great. Burton might want to check it out too. cause the info doesnt match up.

    So after all the research was done, the answere is....drum role.....I should believe what is printed on the top sheet. The sticker on the base might be wrong. I'd love to talk to the guy who "hand built" these "in VT" to see what he says.

    i'm not gonna disagree, but I would call those up dates/blurbs. if i were to talk to myself it would be in forth person.

    Not to bring this up again, but anyone remember the 2008 seven? site/catalog said one thing, sticker said another, and the board said yet another. I only remember the specs the board had printed on it saying it had a sintered base, complete bullocks. There were a couple other gaffes printed on the board.

    Anyone know why it's so difficult for them to get their tech straight?

    The Flying V is not hand-built.

    and you know this how? I did put it in quatation marks to distinguish Hand built cause I'm doubtfull that they are.

    The Flying V is not hand-built.

    what higher end boards ARN'T hand built? Even my 2002 Motion says "hand built in Austria". It's Burton we're talking about here, even thought they're owned by Nike doesn't mean they've outsourced the board manufacturing to developing countries.
