what's the current equivalent of universe pants

Hey, I have an ancient pair of universe pants that have held up awesome, but I lost a lot of weight recently. I love these pants, I'm never cold and they've held up to serious use for years. So is there a current equivalent to these in terms of warmth and waterproofness?

outerwear is way better now than back in the universe days. i doubt you'd be disappointed with anything that isn't bargain basement outerwear these days.

Thanks. I just want to make sure I get something that's pretty warm and relatively waterproof.

I'm also trying to find something that fits pretty well and not super baggy. I like the holden stuff, but can't find it in small. I like the analog lithiums, but worry they aren't warm or dry enough. What about the burton mark 13 garrison?

    Any advice would be appreciated...

honestly, any basic 10k pant these days is going to be fine for what youre looking for. burtons sig fit or any standard fit is going to be a normal outerwear fit, but if youre looking for something a little slimmer but still loose, a normal holden pant or normal slim fit from any company should be fine. burton has a few slims and lots of other companies do these days.

for warmth, i recommend layering, unless every single day you ride is guaranteed to be cold enough to warrant just getting a pant with permanent insulation. if you ever ride in temps that arent that cold, get a normal shell pant and layer accordingly. if its warm and your pants are insulated, youre stuck with overheating... unless youre always cold even when its warm, like girls.
