Foxpuppet - How did the Uninc hold up in the Jap pow?
Snowplay only, Buller fired up the magic carpet on Burke St for a day but thats it. Hotham has officially opened up Big D for riding this afternoon - Hopefully there will be more open for riding by the weekend!
Nice. When I was in Jap Jan 07 I rode my Vapor which held up well, but the nose certainly dipped in the deep deep. Planning another trip and never ridden a pow specific board before....would love a Malolo with ICS...but being here in OZ buying a pow board seems like overkill. I'm kinda hoping the extra (sorry infinite) stance options on the Uninc (ridiculous lack of on the Vapor) and the extra nose width and Wu-idge will provide a little extra float.
Niseko last time, looking at the Nagano prefecture for January 09, maybe Nozawa Onsen or Hakuba. Niseko was great, but it looks like more terrain around Nagano and its always good to check different mountains.
Looks like you guys are getting some in NZ already - nice. Its starting to come together over here, it kinda sucks getting hyped over 22cms at Buller but having said that, I still can't wait to get up there and get in a few runs on the new Uninc and check the Extra Sensory Experience.

Long time - no type. Been busy and my job is outside - no computer. Have just been promoted back inside :)
Haven't been riding since Japan in Feb - wife went to Hotham for the Burton launch and had a great time. She also got to go to the Travis Rice premiere and hang with him and the Quiksilver people afterwards. I got to stay home and work. I think I'm in the wrong job.
Its so ON - managed to get an entire weekend pass!! Bailing work early and heading to Hotham for the whole weekend. I love it when a plan comes together.
