    I have no idea how to go about doing it.  I really think it is a good idea.  Have any of you ever published a book or work in the publishing type field?

    Edit: It is snowboarding related.

    Thanks.  Yea the web search is a for sure.  Was just wondering if the idea would be good enough to follow through on.  I would spill the beans but  don't want anyone using my epic idea.

    If you think it's epic then go for it. If it's different and you're unsure then use some people you know and trust and ask them what they think of the idea.

    Try www.blurb.com or there is a software called Adobe InDesign and its the standard in book layouts

    oh damn..now I`ve got my writing going sideways...I never had that problem with the pencil

    Kaf..pencils aren`t the old fashioned way..My older brother used charcoal and flat rocks

    Hey Feldman, I majored in creative writing in college(I wanted a degree and a guarantee I couldn't use it).  I've had some stuff published, and a LOT LOT more stuff rejected.  So hope you got thick skin.
    Are you looking to self-publish or get a publisher? 

    One piece of advice, Strunk and White's(of charlotte's web fame) "Elements of Style."

    Its not like someone will steal your idea...its all how your idea is presented, that is the key.  I bet cash money your idea has been pitched...just not correctly.

    The big publishers dont give a rats asss about the specifics, it is the delivery.

    Look at Harry Potter. The basic story has been done before.. (Ursla LeGuwin, A Wizard Of EarthSea), but HP delivery was Way better and more marketable. (fucking eh, Harry Potter ripped it off!).
