    Spin to win taken overboard.

A slow 5 or 7 looks much better than that ballerina action.

    true.
although i still find it amusing to see that the snowboard world progressed with another 180 spin added...

Didn't watch the video, because you were too lazy to link it, and I really don't care about 1620s.

But anyway, didn't someone already do a 1620?

I get what people feel on the who ballerina thing, however, what is the limit for "cool" legit spins? Is it a smooth, grabbbed 1080? 720? 1260? Who's to say. I say if it looks smooth--well then, and I dont think that this guy's 1620 was all that smooth--it was decent. I didnt like the grab, but hey. And what if the guy that did it was Muller or Rice--would that have made it any more legit? I dunno, just sayin..........

Ordinarily I would say the same thing, and in real time I definitely agree. But the video was pretty cool. Slowed down it was still pretty stylish and he tweaked the hell out of the grab.

It wasn't really tweaked, it's just that he had to grab the board like that or else he'd be spinning slower. Who cares if it looks good slowed down? It looks horrible when performed.

i agree with that, if he didnt grab like that there would be no way he could spin that fast.

a 1080 is too fast to really call it smooth imo...
