Bdawg:Neither does Venture snowboards and they R&D and press all their own boards in Silverton Co. On a side note speaking of factories does everyboard company have a machine like Burton's Infinite Ride that breaks the board in for you or is that their own creation...?
never even heard of venture? whos fault is that?
and no, i don't think any other company does that, i'm sure we would hear about it if they did
McBain: drjcv: no i'm just saying i don't personally care about DCP, thats all. and regarding inoovation, i dont know. it seems the industry is going more towards "brands" than companies. look at volcom and DC. there aren't bringing anything to the table other than a logo. if someone wants to ride a volcom board its because they like volcom or are into volcoms image, which can be said about any snowboard company, but you cant believe volcom brings as much to the table as burton libtech or even ride, right? do we want r&d companies to exist or do we just want brands? At the same time, techy companies like Palmer and Nidecker don't get much love from us snowboarders either.

oh these are the guys with the 3 different width for every board right? i did hear about them. thats cool they are indy and making there own boards, but the range of boards is not surprisingly limited, and triax on everything? also, i am between widths. it goes 24, 26, 28. also, 4X4 stopped being acceptable a long time ago.

abrakfkingdabra:Nidecker are big amongst the freeriding crewThe Ultralight is similar to the T6, i wont say its better, but if you are into riding hard and fast, its about the best stick out there - full carbon topsheet, and considerably lighter than a vapor, and build quality up there with anythinghttp://www.nidecker.com/snowboards?id_article=1
