    board height

    Hi,

My height is 1,84cm. I am considering buying my first board the custom v-rocker. According to several sites I should go for a board around 161. However last year i rode a couple of times with a 156 and it was pretty good. I read in several topics that its a matter of preferences, but since i am still a bit of rookie I dont have any real preferences.
I want to start doing tricks and they say that smaller boards are easier to control on the air.

My question is to go for the 159 or it would be difficult to control and i should go for the 156?

    Re: board height

height is not really important in snowboarding
weight is way more important. also most of the customs have a small waist width so boot size is also something you should take in account.

so tell me your weight and your boot size

    Re: board height

    Thanks for your help.
With custom v rocker you can buy only burton bindings ?(because of the channel)? Should I go for 2009 cartel or 2010 custom??
As for boots any good suggestion (around 150$)?

    Thanks again

    Re: board height

i'd say def. go for 09 cartels and for boots, go to your local shop and try on as many as you can as they all fit differently for more info do yourself a favor and do a search here for "boot fitting 101" - a good primer on boot buying

    Re: board height

weight doesnt matter. if the board is as tall as your nose it means it fits you good
