    Custom V-Rocker sizing help needed

    Howdy,

Looking at getting a Custom V-Rocker but not 100% sure what size to get as I kinda fall between the 156 and the 159.

    Height: 5'10
    Weight: 175lbs
Type of riding:  Pow and groomers,  No park or rails.
Level: Intermediate, but getting a chance to ride a lot more since moving
    Location: Utah
Current board: Older 155 Custom (feels too small)

Anyone have a chance to ride both sizes back to back?  Would love to test ride the sizes back to back before getting it, but have some timing limitation on my side.

    thanks
    .j.

I wouldn't jump on that "downsize 1 or 2 cms on v-rocker" thing...if you are mainly on groomers and in pow I guess you'll be more happy with a 159 imho

your board doesnt know how tall you are. buy the size that best fits how much you weigh

I say the 159 for sure.  Im 6'0 185 and I got the 156 Custom V.  However, I ride Socal, park and jibs, with the occasional powder day.  The 156 is def small for me, but its good the the area Im at.  If I was at a bigger mtn or had more pow days, Id def be on the 159.

Btw, I agree with everyone else here that the 'downsizing' is a joke!

Sounds like you prefer to freeride so go with the extra length.  It's still short enough to throw around, but long enough for extra float.

Thanks for all of the replies.  Looks like I will go with what my original gut decision was, and the general agreement of the forum,:  the 159... with a pair of Cartel EST bindings.

Can't wait to get it and hit the mountains.

    thanks again
