shaun's white boots 2009 details

Guys hallo

Today i bought shaun white's boots but the model of 2009 and i have a question. In burton's official site is written that shaun white's boots 2010 are for all mountain-freestyle riding. I am wondering if also the previous model(mine)is an all mountain-freestyle model. I am asking you because i can't find anywhere details about the older model.

Up for sale is a set of burton SL-9 snowboard boots for sale. They are a size 10 and have maybe 15 days on them. The last few winters Ive been too busy to get out and ride and got a new pair of boots this year. This is an awesome all around boot but geared more towards a better rider then a novice. As you can see from the pictures theyve barely been worn. I believe I paid $449 for these boots when they were new, they are an AWESOME pair of boots but i tried something on this year and decided i wanted them haha. im asking $150, I will ship these no problem also. They come included with the burton "J-bars" to improve heel hold

Ozones vs. JJ's

I'm looking to get a softer boot than my Sabbath's, and i was checking out the JJ's or Ozones? Opinions, suggestions? Also how much different are one another from last years? Mainly speak of the JJ's here since there are more of those for sale.

Ion vs. Driver X

I am an indecisive *** and am trying to weight the Pros and Cons of going with a stiffer Driver boot vs. a more comfortable Ion Boot. I know we have a ways to go before anyone is riding this years stuff but here are a few questions:

1. When these boots break in, how much softer will they get? (historically for Burton boots)

2. Any real difference between the Imprint 3 and 4 liners?

3. Is the changeable heel pad in the Ion all marketing or will they really improve the boots performance?

4. How stiff is really needed for freeriding?

I am 6ft, 220 so I am afraid that the Ions will be great at first but that I will lose support over time. The Driver X is pretty slick but so stiff I am afraid I will lose some agility.

Any help is appreciated...

I need to update my 04 Ions this year, size 11.5. I know Burton has shrunk down the shells over the past years. Does anyone know if the sizing is still the same?

Does the 2010 size 11.5 = 2004 size 11.5?

What sucks is having to move to StLouis and having no local shop. Well, we have ONE shop but they dont carry any highline stuff. I have a $260 store credit there, and they can order the boot from Burton, but if the size is wrong, they want a 20% restocking fee.

Any insight will help.

hi, because of a warranty i think i have to exchange my boots. I hot-iron my liners at toebox, arch area, and heel to create length& width by shrink-on-the-spot, to downsize "to the max". So trying the new model in shop without customizing is useless...

anyone know if the fit has changed? (like toebox did in sl-9 to sl-10...)

Ruler vs Hail ....opinions needed

I'm trying to decide between these 2 boots. Both fit my feet well, so that's not an issue. I mainly ride park so I'd like something that has a decent amount of flex to it. On the other hand, I work park crew so I want something that has some support, as I'll be working in these as well as riding.

I went through 2 pairs of libertines last season, so I want something with a bit more support this time around. I'm assuming the hail is similar to these, with hopefully less mush....and better construction i'm assuming.

Speedzone vs. laces doesn't really matter to me. I like the quickness of speedzone, but I enjoy being able to dial in exactly how my boots are tied with normal laces. As far as cushion goes, both seem to have a good amount of padding.

Any word on pack out with either boot? I usually go down one size and heat mold em. Either the hail or ruler give out easier then the other?

So I'm pretty much just asking for opinions on either boot. What do you guys think, your experience, etc..

I'm trying to decide whether to get Motos or Rulers. I want the speedzone, Anybody have either? What ya think? The Ruler has "shrinkage" I wear elevens so... The speedzone is different between the two yes? I want a firm boot with good response. I have Boxers now and they are like mush. Advice?

I can't get the chance to test the ozones in my size in a local store and I have to send an order off soon.
SL-X aren't available, so I'm looking at the Ozone.

Are they designed that a person riding a US12 in SL-X will also use a US12 in ozone?
That's what I take away from the "shrinkage tech" description, but I wanted to confirm with anyone that had moved from one burton boot to these.

It sucks that the previous two posts are for last years Ions size 13 and size 11.5 because I need 10.5s. I know this is a long shot but does anyone have 09 10.5 ions that (lightly used or perhaps even brand new) that they would like to sell to me? It doesn't matter if they're black or white, I'll take whatever.
