Tones of stretching,Foot beads, Heel packers(like you suggested), Acupuncture, Chinese heat patches(701), Anti-inflammatory,Tigerbalm, Arnica,Pain killers, and Booze.

I just bought new foot beds and heel lifts today. Plus, i'm gonna start a diet where i cut out the dairy, red meat and coffee. Gonna live on fish n Pineapples this season. Oh, and try n find a cheap physiotherapist in my area.

Cheers for your time.

Echoing what Doc said...treat the tendon. The heel lifts unload the tendon, but you need to progress off from them entirely (a shorter and shorter lift). A lot of the things you mentioned just treat the symptoms- they're just going to distract you from the pain. You seem desperate- to the point of changing your diet. You might want to try a night splint, it'll keep your achilles in a prolonged low-load stretch all night. I'd look into icing (ice massage) and even ultrasound, if you're going to a physio. Good luck, dude!
Re: Foot pain caused by Achilles tendonitis.

It's been a long drawn out saga man.

Tones of stretching,Foot beads, Heel packers(like you suggested), Acupuncture, Chinese heat patches(701), Anti-inflammatory,Tigerbalm, Arnica,Pain killers, and Booze.

I just bought new foot beds and heel lifts today.
