Check out the wheelie gig bag - you can wheel 'er around the airport and streets and you can probably fit a few extras in there- I usually put my boots, binders, and outerwear all in my board bag when I travel. I dont generally take the bindings off the board, but if you do, be sure to wrap them in something- outerwear or plastic bags, otherwise the board will get scuffed up like crazy.

If you are traveling with somebody on the regular, you should look into the larger roomier wheelie board case- it rocks!

Unless you want to use it as a sleeping bag...

um...you could zip me into a 153 without any trouble at all. 166 = useless for a midget.

can anyone advise which board bag would be good for a 146 and maybe one more board say no longer than a 149, which will travel a lot on planes n trains but not too heavy for a gal. Gotta be able to get it off the luggage conveyor belt. It needs to be rugged too. Thx.

Go a few cm bigger than your stick, otherwise its gonna be too tight of a fit. Also, check out Dakine...http://dakine.com/snowboard/bags/non-wheeled-board-bags/tour/. I am gonna get one like that for my new 151.

Also, remember for travel, even if your board is bagged, you may not have room in your car...a roof rack would be a wiser purchase. I have both bags and a rack, and I use them obsessively.

check out the space sack on sierra.

picked up one for $10bucks last week. can't beat that.

not a padded bag... and no wheels... but can't beat the price for an everyday, local bag to/from mountain.

also have a technine bag.. i like that it has 'backpack' straps on it.

wheelie bag: burton or dc are best imo

I personally like the Dakine Low Roller bag, all my Burton gear fits neatly in there.

not sure which one to go with but buy the board bag a few centimeters longer than your longest board
