RDM is a tool and an idiot. Perfect example of why no one should listen to any sort of celebrity's or athletes views, or at least treat them as suspect if you yourself do not understand what is going on. News flash Roman you bonehead--the world is awash in debt, too many people living off of credit cards with sky high mortgages, buying cheap (price wise and /or quality) Chinese made snow gear, etc etc--people need to save their $$ and pay off bills, not go out and keep spending--unless your situation allows for it. This idiot knows nothing of the real economic problems the US and the rest of the world faces. If he did he sure as hell wouldnt have started a snowboard co that will soon be frying along with his seed money.

It looks like his front foot is still in a binding on the board in a way that lets it spin 360...

just something ive noticed.

is there some sort of reason or trend with rail dudes emerging, to ride skinny stances and slightly longer (looking) boards? if i remember correctly... nick dirks, jed anderson, louif paradis... for example. it appears they are at something like 20 inches, and their nose and tail look quite long for what youd expect a "jibber" to be.

obviously it doesnt matter and if someone wants to ride a narrower stance or whatever, thats fine, its all preference. but its peculiar to me. check some of the recent videos to see what i mean if you dont already. pretty much anything. rail jams, summer camp footage, etc.

I ride a rome anthem 156 and am 5ft. 7in tall. My stance width is 20 and 1/2 and I only freeride. Is this stance width okay for my height, riding and board length? Thanks for the help.

Do you guys maintain your duckstance in powder

Do all you duck stance riders keep your duck stance when riding deep powder or do you switch your angles to more forward. I am heading out to silverton colorado this year and taking a backcountry guided lesson and they stress you should not use duck stance for steeps in powder. Any opinions here? They also claim its very uncomfortable in duck in those powder steeps.
