your snowboard fashion sense. . .

I'm in a state of disbelief that I spent the last two hours choosing a colorway for a new pair of goggles. I can't believe that all of a sudden, the right color matching scheme seems to be an obsession of mine. Really gay, isn't it?

So what's your fashion sense on the hill? Loud? Restrained? Multiple outfits every year? Or is it replace gear when you have to duct tape it?

I've never really strayed beyond blue / gray / black / beige, i.e. boring. But that is abOUT to change. . . .

I spent a few hours last night hunting for a red beanie that fit my personal taste to go along with my green and red Holden kit.  To compliment that kit I have the lime Crowbars and the lime colored Spacecraft beanie, but need to pick up the red Crowbars and a red beanie, most likely the Coal Airbear (Spacecraft didn't really have any red options).

I also have decided against a few colorways in the Crowbars I really like because they didn't go with any of the kits I have.

I've noticed that over the past two or three years, I try entirely too hard to make kits match/work.

once you come to terms with the fact that you'll never be much more than an average recreational snowboarder, then you can focus on the fashion.

I suck at snowboarding and I'm content with that.  What I lack in skill I try to make up for in my fashion sense.

I like to have a variety of gear so that I can mix it up. I usually try and have 3 jackets and 3 pairs of pants in the rotation and do my best to make sure that all the pieces work together, so I can mix and match. When it comes to goggles I try to stick to 1 or 2 frames that'll work with everything I have. Although right now I own 4 pairs of goggles that will all see regular use. My hat and glove selection has gotten a little out of control in the past couple of years but I try and stick to all black or all white gloves.

I spend way to much time coordinating outfits, both for on and off snow.

Haha....well said Greed. I like brighter colors. Makes it harder for friends to lose you on the mountain if they can see you from afar.

this statement combined with your upcoming move to Colorado make me think that you are close to becoming resort town trash!

Comeback player of the year, no doubt.

You wouldn't believe how many times my flamboyant colors choices have come in handy for situations like that.

I don't focus on outfits at all. I obsess over certain pieces I see. Whether they work with anything else I own becomes an issue later, or not. I like creative designs, use of unique textiles and colors that stand out.

just go with whatever outfit that doesnt make you look like you got your blind grandmother to help you pick out your clothes

i got 06 plaid light green pants with a dark green jacket

you want to think about what you will look like, but dont be too obsessed or you wont look like someone who actually snowboards (i.e. keir)
