Question about boot sizing from 2006-2009

I've got a pair of 06(I think...possibly 05) Shaun White's and I need a new pair this year(looking at Rulers most likely). My current boots are a size 9 and I'm wondering if I should buy a size 9 or go half a size bigger. I tried on a pair of 09 Ions in a 9 and they felt a bit too small but that was 6 months ago and now I'm not sure. As far as I know none of the shops in my area have any size 9 boots for me to try and I'll be buyin them online so I'm tryin to decide if I should get a 9 or a 9.5. I'd just like to know if anyone is aware if Burton changed their sizing over the last 4 years or so.
My current boots are this model

Spenser? I believe you ride Rulers, maybe you have some insight?

try them on.. thats all there is to it. since you said you cant..... i dunno.. theres not much you can do that is actually going to help a whole lot. its not just the size, its the fit as well.

but part of the reason your 9s feel so much bigger is because youve had them for years.. so............. yeah. you know how to fit your boots, right? just treat this new purchase the same.
