    4 Questions: going to USA

This summer I'm going to the United States for the first time. I want to buy my first snowboard there, but I have a lot of questions. My board is going to be the Custom ICS.

    1. Well first of all I am going to fly to the USA with delta airlines from the Netherlands. ITell me what I have to pay attention too for shipping my snowboard. Paying for export/import? / How to not damage my board?

    2. What is the best place to buy the board? I don't have much money so I want it cheap and because it's summer the sales are crazy: over 50% I thought?(and what about outlet stores?or retail stores whatever they're called).
I am going to travel to these city's: Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Jackson.

    3. I am also going to buy bindings, but I don't know which. I prefer burton's because they will match with the ICS well and with the sales they're extremely cheap. So what fits best with the custom ICS? And what about sizing of bindings I have no idea...

    4. Final question about retail shops for clothing for snowboarding and just normal clothing. Is it true that some huge retail / outlet stores are really that cheap? I heard some amazing stories.

    Thank you all in advance!

    1. How are you going to get it home? Are you taking a board bag? No charge for export, and you should consult your own Customs department for import duties etc. It would help if you could ride it for at least a day, scratch it up a little so then it's not "new" and you'd be gravy. At least pull all the stickers off it before you ship it home. I don't think you should have to pay anything, I've brought new boards through the Canadian and NZ borders and haven't had a problem.

    2. Salt Lake - check out Milo, they're good people. Salty Peaks have great deals, but no soul. Or maybe even go to the Backcountry.com warehouse and pick one up there (they have pc's you can use there, and from what I understand that means you don't have to pay shipping). Other option is to find a wicked deal online and have it shipped to somewhere that you will be.

    3. Missions or Cartels, depending on whether you like the tall highback or not. Can't go wrong with either.

    5. Have fun.

I am going to use a boardbag.
I just checked my own customs department and it said that things under €430 / $600 are allowed! So that will work out I guess.

And about the bindings: I once saw bindings with the gradient colored custom on them.. What's the name of that binding?
And what is the difference between EST and not-est bindings?

Where do I have to look for when buying a binding?

Ohyeah I would also wanna know what you guys know/think of retail/outlet stores

est bindings only work with ics boards from burton so it basicly lets you have any stance you could ever want+a HUGE! stance width so if your ridin park its great+its like 100x more compfy then your standard binding.
