i fucking hate 3D.
you have almost no stance options as far as getting a stance you actually like. you either have to get a board that naturally allows it (which limits your board choices a lot) or you have to use a stance you dont really like. so fucking lame.
do yourself a favor and get a new board. if its burton, go with ICS.

if its the 2009 3d version, im not sure. the setback as 10mm as far as i know. the closest you could get would be if you had your front binding one triangle further toward the nose than your back binding toward the tail.
so for example.. if you move your back binding one triangle away from the ref stance, you would move your front binding two triangles away.
this gives you very limited stance widths, though, and youd HAVE to settle for whatever you can get.
so if the ref stance on the 151 is 20", you would HAVE to have a 21 or 23 inch stance to be centered.

You can do fancy stuff like spinning the plate around several degrees there by gaining 1/4 inch increments per binding but losing toe/heel mobility and knowing the exact angle of the binding (not like it really matters anyway). Just keep spinning it around until you find it, I'm thinking around 30º, but since I don't have access to any equipment I can't be sure.
Other than that I have nothing to add to what spencer said.

I moved my front binding up to the front triangle and i think its as close as i could get to centering my stance. I also strapped in and its deffinity more flexy
