If you have bad knees I'd think you'd want a more supportive boot rather than something that flexes a lot. The Hail was one of the shittiest boots have ever used....45 days in and they are too soft for any legit support. Just head to a shop and try boots on and find one that you feel is cush enough for your likings and again, find something more supportive.

Libertines are complete mush, which is why I'm surprised at how your describing hails. I went through 2 pairs of libertines last year...THOSE are a noodle boot.
