What is the closest thing Burton do to a Ride Yukon? May Change

    Hi Guys,

Im thinking of treating myself to a new board this season and would appreciate some help from all you Burton experts out there

I currently ride a Ride Yukon 168 (and a Battaleon Goliath 161) and am thinking of punting the pair of them on ebay and buying a replacement for the Yukon. The fact that my girlfriend gets 20% off Burton helps too.

I have size 12 (US 13) feet so I do need a wide board and the 168 is about the right sort of length for me ( Previously rode a 168 Lib Tech Tommy Brunner)

I spent zero time in the park, most of the time back country (Heading to Verbier, Val D and Chamonix over the next few months) and the rest of the time on Piste. I ride pretty fast so need something that will be stable and not "wobble" but dont want something that would be totally unforgiving / without flex .

At the sort of length that I am looking for it seems that I am looking at

    Supermodel 68

    Custom Wide 66

    Custom X Wide 68

Deuce Wide 68 (Is this a re-named floater??)

    Or .. Another Ride Yukon!

    All help appreciated

Custom X Wide 168, no question. For the type of riding you're talking about doing, and the kind of stiff board you're coming from, this is your best bet.
