Dogfunk Brocode: Why it doesn't work...

So low and behold I'm pretty sure I have figured out what has happened with the Dogfunk discount code. I do quote your beloved Chappy from the BMB

    TahoeChappy:
and I apologize for pawning you with getting info about DF violating Oakley's dealer agreements....

This is the type of business Chappy has to run. He sees the success James is having with Dogfunk and realizes he cannot compete. He hears rumors of the BMB going down. What does he do? Rats out Dogfunk and has vendors tighten their policy while luring people over here by providing a message board that offers giveaways to brainwash you into thinking he is the only dealer that cares. He scolds Sierra constantly, yet he follows in their footsteps.

James and Dogfunk have NEVER asked anything of any of us, yet time and time again people were provided with a discount. You didn't have to BUY your discount with Dogfunk, it was simply given to you for being an avid supporter of snowboarding.

I hope some of you open your eyes and see what kind of shady business is being conducted by Porters.

Who cares?  All of you seemed to care when you couldn't get the Dogfunk discount.

Things are getting interesting over here...

If you're right, that would be completely looney tunes.

If I'm right?  I might not be right about Chappy being the one and only person, but it adds up as far as I'm concerned.  Porters didn't exist around here a year ago.  Chappy asked a lot of questions and a lot of people sold Dogfunk out regarding discounts for some bullshit promises I'm sure.  Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Chappy clearly did mention something to Oakley and I know for a fact Oakley is one of the most strict companies out there.

I'm glad Dogfunk pulled the discount.  The majority of people using it probably didn't even appreciate it.  Go check EL for proof.

Re: Dogfunk Brocode: Why it doesn't work...

Dogfunk.com is owned by Backcountry.com who is owned by the company who owns the QVC channel and Match.com. So you can get your gear, find a girlfriend and get grandma that gift she always wanted all from the same company. Don't we already have a business like that in the US- Walmart ring a bell to anyone?

Seems pretty core don't you think? I bet those cooperate guys really care about your shred. I am sure their continued wealth from your addiction to snow just does not matter at all to them. When you start supporting companies like this, you are supporting the destruction of the shop owner and businesses all over. I would rather have a snowboarder, not a company that trys to hook singles up and sell the next sapphire bracelet your grandma wants sell me gear. In the grand scheme of things companies like Dogfunk will ruin the business. It is only a matter of time.

You're not right TJ and are ASSuming. I've never mentioned it to Oakley because I couldn't get the straight scoop from you as to how it worked and what entitled you to 38% off.

And yes fvck me this is GOOD for the industry so that even though James hates Salty Peaks and their owner, a shop like that might still be able to exist in this Walmart "always lower prices" bullsh1t mentality that the very company you're waiving the banner for has been one of the BIGGEST culprits...

You should check his closet to see how many different banners he's had and worn out.

Either you have smoked yourself retarded or you're getting senile.

Or you are trying to back track what you said.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.  If you can't get your own customers why not steal them?  Smoke and mirrors, smoke and mirrors.

Obviously you are not interested in accepting the truth of the matter if this is all you can muster up.

You must know a lot about quantum physics as well.
