• Re: i think i bought the wrong size board.

Dude that sounds really short. I'm 5 9 175 lbs. I rode a custom 56 for years and now ride a custom 58 for my all around. I've been riding for 19 years (season passes for 15). The shortest board I ever road was a 53 (too short) If you go shorter (little under the chin) you gain in freestyle manuverability and turning at lower speed. If ...

  • Re: EASY LIVIN

Burton made the early supermodels with cap construction. I have two. I think Burton copied it from skis, perhaps Solomon. Fashback to the late 80's early 90's A lot of what you mentioned was invented by riders modifying their own boards 2-3 years before the companies started selling it.. It was common practice where I first ...

  • Re: How does the joystick's v-rocker feel off kickers?

I understand what you're getting at to a degree. I would agree that riding style is all about personal preferences. Because of this there are boards designed to match all kinds of riding styles. Thats why there is no ONE board that works best for everyone. Some are designed to work well on boxes & rails while others are designed ...

  • Re: What is the best boad for kickers?

Hey Kbasa I was talking to the other guy (theinfamousegreed). You actually gave a suggestion. So far, people have suggested the un..inc to me more than any other board. Thanks!

Yea I thought I'd simplify it a bit for all those prepubesant *** talking tards out there who seem unable to answere a simple question. I'm not talking about what board fits my overall style here, just which one riders feel the most confident hitting huge kickers on and why. If you must know I'm 5'9 175 lbs with a size 10 boot.

  • What is the best boad for kickers?

What is the perfect board for kickers, both hard man made jumps and soft backcountry booters. Which one goes off the lip smooth, feels balanced while spinning and provides a stable platform for landing either regular or switch?

  • Re: Board Setup/Colour

I've ridden that board / binding combo and really liked it for my all around. Of course it depends on what style of riding you're into, your height, weight, boot size and such. The cartels feel good and have all the features an advenced rider wants without getting into the ultra tech R&D that costs $100's more for small ...

  • How does the joystick's v-rocker feel off kickers?

Sure v rocker sounds great on rails and boxes, but I like kickers more. How will it handle the take offs and landings? Stability? Starting to spin off the lip? Landing after a big spin? washout? I'm comparing the joystick 57 to a custom x 58 on how they handle jumps.

  • Re: Is the Joystick right for me?

Thanks dude. Yea, I'd watched that video with chris before. It looks like he's having fun and his butters look a little easier on that board, less torque on the knees and ankles. There's another video out there where chris is in what looks like a big air contest doing some big spins. I can't tell if he's riding the joystick in it or not.
